About Moore of Devizes

Moore of Devizes was started as a plumbing company in Wiltshire by Ron Moore in 2001 in the town which has been his home for the past 20 years. He created the company on the back of more than 40 years experience in the heating and plumbing trade having worked for some of the country's biggest names.

Ron's ethos was to bring experience and professionalism into peoples homes by offering a very personal and professional plumbing and heating service.

Ron said: "When people come to me they want solutions, they don’t want to hear about the problems. They want heating systems designed to make their homes comfortably warm in summer and pleasantly cool in summer.

"They want bathrooms that meet the needs of their families and their budgets. They also want to know about the latest environmentally friendly products!

Backing up Ron are a team of dedicated professional plumbers and heating engineers led by Phil Romans, who has worked in the plumbing and heating trade in Devizes for more than 20 years. Phil is a true perfectionist who makes sure every job he is involved in is up to the high standard he would expect in his own home."

Phil's brother Justin came to Moore of Devizes as a mature apprentice after a number of years in the building trade and is now a skilled craftsman following in the footsteps of his brother.

Archie Webster joined Moore of Devizes as a 16-year-old apprentice and now over five years later is fully versed in the sort of the standards the company expects.

George Rawlings - a trained plumber - who joined the firm a year ago, brings with him a wealth of experience in plumbing and heating.

Ricky Alford joined Moore of Devizes last year after completing his apprenticeship with another local firm.

Clive Moulton is a service engineer with substantial experience in maintenance and trouble shooting problems on a wide range of boilers.

This small and dedicated team are backed up by a number of other specialists in their field who are experts on ventilation, thermal insulation, refrigeration and automatic control systems.
